PMI and NDU Partner to Empower Future Leaders in Lebanon and MENA

Beirut: Project Management Institute (PMI) and Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU) in Lebanon have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to empower the next generation of leaders in Lebanon and the MENA region.

The agreement was announced on March 25, 2025, marking a strategic collaboration between PMI—the world’s leading authority in project management—and NDU, a prestigious, NECHE-accredited institution known for academic excellence and innovation.

Under this partnership, NDU becomes an Authorized Training Partner (ATP) of PMI, granting students access to PMI’s extensive resources such as global certification programs, high-quality training content, research, and networking opportunities.

This collaboration aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by providing practical skills that drive innovation, problem-solving, and career readiness. Students will benefit from industry best practices and cutting-edge tools that enhance their professional development and give them a competitive edge in the business landscape.

Hanny Alshazly, Regional Managing Director for the Middle East and North Africa at PMI, stated, "We are committed to equipping the next generation with the tools, knowledge, and mindset needed to thrive in an ever-changing world.

This partnership with NDU strengthens our efforts to bridge academia and industry, ensuring students gain practical skills that drive innovation, problem-solving, and career readiness." Fr. Bechara Khoury, President of NDU, added, "Despite enduring decades of conflict and instability, the Lebanese educational sector stands as a beacon of excellence.

We are proud to partner with PMI, cultivating a culture of excellence and producing innovative minds and skilled professionals who are a testament to our nation's enduring spirit."

This collaboration is not only about imparting knowledge but also about shaping future generations to think critically, lead courageously, and create lasting change in the region.
